Mercotac Model 430
This model features low internal resistance and usually comes with pin connections, but optional wires are available if needed. Transmission occurs through mercury, which makes its working principle different from other slip ring technologies. Thanks to this, the Mercotac Model 430 can operate for a very long time, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
During rotation, the mercury liquid maintains electrical contact between stationary and rotating parts without wear. This gives the slip ring a very long life — capable of approximately 2 billion revolutions — while maintaining consistent, high-quality signal transmission. It can reliably transmit very sensitive signals at high rotational speeds.
The Mercotac Model 430 is compact and powerful, and it also meets IP51 protection standards, providing basic protection against dust and dripping water.
